In my opinion Pure Pleasure is highly overrated - I have a few pressings from them that are far away from "audiophile" - they claim to be "pure analogue" but most of their pressings come from digital source... and are not better than other reissues - the fact that they press at Pallas is not a quality insurance nowadays... I have no idea how "Pure Pleasure" connects to "Speaker Corners" but in my experience Speaker Corners LPs sound WAY BETTER and it looks as if they really keep their strategy with direct lacquer cuts from original master tapes!

I'm yet to be disappointed by any of their releases I have bought. I put them on the same level as Speakers Corner. My only criticism (a minor one) would be higher jacket quality.

I'll back this label, they do their reissues right. Got Yusef Lateef and Terry Riley releases and they sound incredible and ate pressed with excellent quality, if only I could find more of their releases at my record store I would definitely buy them.

Top notch vinyl reissue label, never been disappointed in anything from them. All of the LPs I have are 100% analog cuts and sound great. Along with some "safer" picks they are tackling more adventurous albums that the more traditionalist American audiophile labels seem to over.

Two minor pieces of constructive criticism: First, if a mono master is used for an album, please make that a little more clear on the packaging and center labels. Second, while the glossy direct to board jackets look good, I'd like to see tip-on style jackets in the future, if possible.

In case anyone is wondering, pretty much all their records are cut by Ray Staff at Air Mastering and pressed at Pallas in .
