Spanish record company originally established in 1969 as part of Fonogram, S.A..
Became a subsidiary of Polydor International in September 1971 to separate the product, marketing and sales forces. In 1984 the company, together with Fonogram, S.A., was merged into PolyGram Ibérica, S.A.
They also operated a recording studio, as well as a vinyl and cassette manufacturing plant.
For Peruvian, Italian, Portugal and other countries (Not spanish Polydor, S.A.) please use the proper company.
For the French Polydor division, use Polydor S.A.
