"Well, that is a rare pirate CD. UNISON Records (sometimes also credited as UNISON TRADING) was a pirate CD/MC label based in Bulgaria (Europe) back in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Not many people is aware of, but in Bulgaria UNISON was treated as an OFFICIAL label.

Unison CDs were manufactured by legitimate CD plants (mostly in Hungary, Czechoslovakia or ) as a very good quality product. Back in the early 1990s, Bulgaria, as well as some post communist countries in Europe, did not have a good organisations to control the pirate market. That's why many pirate CDs were officially sold in the stores and owners of this stores were often not aware of the CD origin.

Please do not confuse pirate CD with a bootleg. Unison's CDs are not bootlegs, they carry an original material by the artist (probably pirated from the original CD release), while artwork is a combination of non-existing catalogue#, barcode etc."
