Egg

Profile:

French label associated with François Bréant's management and Pema Music. The label existed twice, initially an underground pop label 1969 to 1970, and later resurrected in 1977 with a new logo now self proclaimed as "The most progressive European experience". This second phase of Egg was quite successful on an international level, gaining UK distribution via Making Waves, and under licence via Metronome in , Movieplay in Spain and Jem in the USA. It also released a few Krautrock exclusives, including releases from Peter Baumann's Paragon Studio.
