Here, I'd like to start a thread for the recent reissue campaign that Mondo/Death Waltz have done: the "Halloween" franchise.

Here, on this thread, we can post our reactions, reviews, and also mention any issues that may have come with these releases.

I've, personally, bought all the releases - the debut through "Halloween 5" - including the slipcase that was made available with the initial two - "Halloween 4" and "Halloween 5" - scores.

How do y'all suppose that the Box Set, as a whole, should be submitted to the database. I see all the individual releases, but nothing for the complete box.

Really this has to be submitted "as it was sold." So if the box came with just 4 and 5, it has to be entered as such, with a note that the box contains room for the other scores. See The Cult - The Ceremony Collection (Wild Hearted Son) for examples.

Gotcha, that actually makes a lot of sense. I just reviewed the Submission Guidelines for such. If nobody has added it to the notes by next week, I'll do so.

    armidge,
I just saw that this got submitted. I guess 1-5 were sold all together at the H40 Convention!
I wonder if there is a way to submit the others along with this that is within guidelines?

Not really. Since they were also available separately, Discogs doesn't see the 4/5/Box set as unique.

I just don't see how that's useful in making it easy to sell in the marketplace if you wanted to. Unless you had this special H40 box, it would be a mess trying to list 5 individual LPs with the slip. You'd run the risk of someone buying just one of the LPs and not the set.

Not trying to sell, but for practical reasons, wouldn't that make sense?
