Create a thread (if hasn't already been made) for the city that you live in and all decent record stores in that area if they haven't been listed. If it has been listed and you want to add a store or comment feel free to do so. For the smaller countries if you would like to do just country that is fine too.

Keep such topics regularly updated with changes about the stores - ie "not selling vinyl", "more expensive these days", etc. Maybe try to avoid clouding the main topics with info such as "look what I got last week" - maybe start a new topic for such stuff. Keep the main topics with factual updates about the stores.
Also perhaps a forum to discuss best way to get to and from your local stores via public transport for visitors to your home town - nearset pub for a quick break.
Just a few suggestions - make this the ultimate local knowledge resource for music buyers. Use your years of local practice to help others who follow in your footsteps.
It reminded me of a site I saw that had almost the same purpose: RecordStoreReview.com, but that site has been up a few years now, and still doesn't have enough contributors to make it very functional. They've got a lot of stores, but it seems whenever you search by city, it's always missing half the decent shops.
But maybe you/we want a thread or sticky to list external resources like this as well?
I started off creating threads n all without even mentioning what a great idea this was in the first place. Always spent too much time figuring out where some good shops are when I'm in a city I don't know, this might save me heaps of time in the future.
Btw anyone minds if I create threads for cities I don't live in, like I did with Perth? Could add Adelaide if no-one else will.

I miss one big major city in Europe... Where is Paris in this forum. I couldn't imagine that there are no recordstores in Paris. In a few weeks I go to Paris... can somebody help me to find some recordstores?
yeah it's strange no one has done any stores from there yet.
