Richard Rouska

Publisher, writer, musician and journalist based in Yorkshire, England. After being involved in the early punk scene he went on to write a number of fanzines in the early 1980s. He set up his own record label (Rouska), performed as a ranting poet (The Mauled Avenger) and his own group W.M.T.I.D.. In the early nineties Richard set up his own PR company working for artists such as Tom Robinson or Drug Free America or labels such as Cherry Red. In 1993 he set up Berserk Publishing, producing the monthly Yorkshire magazine Panic plus two books: Scam and Nervous Breakdown. He used to have his own website 1977cc.
