Jan Bark

Jan Bark (b. 19 April, 1934, Härnösand - d. 27 April, 2012, Tyresö) was a Swedish composer that studied music at Borgarskolan and Musikhögskolan in Stockholm. He began his musical career by playing jazz trombone, later becoming a teacher of music and an instructor for film editors and cameramen at the Swedish broadcasting network.
In 1963 he co-founded Kulturkvartetten, a group of four trombonists who performed their own theatrical and musical compositions. From the 1960s onwards he was largely active in collaborative events; later becoming interested in films and videotapes, attempting to cultural undercurrents in social change.
