Emmanuel Holterbach is a musique concrète composer, performer and sound artist, born 1971, living and working in Lyon, .
He is composing, showing sound installations, performances and concerts since 1992 in Europe, China and Canada.

He has worked, composed and performed with Giovanni Di Domenico & Silvia Tarozzi, Blutwurst, Nurse With Wound, Lionel Marchetti, Hitoshi Kojo, Michael Northam, David Maranha & Osso Exotico, Jean-François Laporte, Pierre Berthet, David Fenech, Sebastion Borgo.
He used to compose and perform "acousmagic" music with Etienne Coussirat in EHŒCO (2010-2017).
He used to perform in the short lived experimental rock band TONTON MACOUTE (2009-2011).
He has designed and made build by a glass blower the Enharmonic Glasses and performed with them with Sophie Durand in Orbes from 2001 to 2011 in untypical resonnant spaces all over Europe.
He has written arcticles and presented lectures on sound arts, field recording and the art of listening all over Europe from 1998 to 2017.

He have digitalized Eliane Radigue’s and electronic archive works (with the technical help of Lionel Marchetti and with the financial of patron François Kaeser), have written her biography (published by INA/GRM in the Portraits Polychrome series ) and coordinated the publication of her archives for Alga Marghen and Important Records from 2004 to 2022. He has performed her electronic music works all over Europe from 2004 to 2019 and coordinated retrospective events ("Continuum" in Dijon 2006, "Triptych: The Music of Eliane Radigue" in London 2011), as so as re-working and showing some of her early sound installations works (Omnht, Transamorem-Transmortem, Σ = a = b = a + b) at some occasions.

Co-founder member of sound object & record label Les Productions Fluorescentes (2011-2017) and Drone Visual Humming (1994-1996).
