Grover Mitchell

American jazz trombonist.
Born 17 March 1930 in Whatley, Alabama.
Died 4 August 2003 in Manhattan, New York, USA.

Played with the Count Basie Orchestra, as well as with Duke Ellington and Lionel Hampton. In the early '70s, Mitchell started writing music for television and films, including the hit 1972 film "Lady Sings the Blues."
