Old Funeral

A death/black-metal band from Bergen, Norway, founded in 1988. They had an often changing line-up and recorded few demo tapes and one EP before disbanding in 1992. The group was a stepping stone for many of its , who achieved much bigger success with their later acts; Eikemo and Nævdal with Immortal, Vikernes with Burzum and Tunsberg with Hades Almighty.

Old Funeral did a reunion performance at the Blekkmetal event in Bergen in November 2015.
