Mariano Merceron Y Sus Muchachos Pimienta

Cuban jazz-band founded in 1932. By the end of the 30's, Mariano Mercerón changed the name of the band from "Piper Boys" to "Muchachos Pimienta". They disbanded in 1946 and Mercerón went to Mexico where he led an Orchestra and wrote music for films. In the 1950's he came back to Cuba and eventually formed another Orchestra that he named once again Muchachos Pimienta.
