Edited 4 months agoSince prices for this classic are getting a bit cheeky, here's my review of this pressing. My copy is still VG+ to borderline NM and I've owned this from new (bought within a couple of weeks of release) and the only one I've ever owned so can't compare to later ones. So: it's a wonderful pressing with a superb soundstage and instrument separation throughout. Guitar and bass especially good here. Disc is on the thin side, but a lot of late 80's early 90's pressings were when the format began to fall from favour over CDs. This does not in any way affect what is a sonically superb spin.

This came at pretty much at the same time as the embossed cover issue. A mate bought a non embossed cover a couple of weeks after I bought my embossed copy.

I would query the release date. My copy matches the matrix, labels and has non embossed sleeve. My memory is of having played it extensively during the summer of 1989. It may have been released earlier in the year but a copy used for press in October as per press release with copy submitted?
