I bought this as a Cassette in1974. I then went to London from Derbyshire with some very straight laced family friends. Lovely people but very conservative. Once we got onto the M1 in their Volvo estate I suggested Autobahn as a listen. For the first 5 minutes or so I was the source of much ribbing. But then Kraftwerk did their magic and not a word as said for the rest of the track. It suited the scene so perfectly. I even got some begrudging apologies too.
